“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
Matthew 10:16 (KJV)
Lord, scams are everywhere, calls, texts and emails trying to steal money and information. I want to protect myself and my family.
Give us wisdom to recognize lies and pressure tactics. Help us slow down before clicking, paying or sharing details.
Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Make us wise, Lord.
Protect our older family members who may be targeted. Help us talk with them and look out for them.
If we have been scammed, help us recover and not live in shame. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Short prayer to remember
Lord, make me wise to spot lies and protect my family. Amen.
