Lord, my child is walking to school on their own. I want them to grow up, but I worry about their safety.
Protect them at every crossing. Keep them alert to traffic and wise about strangers. Help them stay on their path and arrive safely.
Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. Let my child walk safely today.
Give me peace while they are out of my sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
