Lord, my loved one is deployed far from home. I think about them every day and pray for their safety.
Protect them in body, mind and spirit. Keep them safe in danger. Give them wisdom, courage and good leaders.
He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Cover them, Lord.
Give them rest when they can sleep, friends beside them, and hope for home.
Bring them back to us whole. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
