Lord, a hurricane may be coming. We are watching the news and preparing, and we feel uneasy.
Protect our home, our family and our neighbors. Give us wisdom to prepare well and leave if we need to.
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Calm this storm, Lord, or turn it aside.
Protect emergency workers, the elderly, the sick and those without shelter.
If damage comes, help us recover and help each other. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
