Prayer for Strength in Physical Therapy

For the slow, painful work of rebuilding strength after injury or surgery.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

Lord, physical therapy is hard. The exercises hurt, progress feels slow, and some days I want to quit.

Give me strength and perseverance. Help my muscles, joints and nerves heal and grow strong again.

Bless my therapist with wisdom and encouragement. Help me follow the plan at home too, even when no one is watching.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Let me lean on Your strength in every rep and every stretch.

Thank You for every small improvement. Help me notice and celebrate them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Short prayer to remember

I can do this through Christ who strengthens me. Amen.
