Lord, working for my boss is hard. I feel criticized, overlooked or treated unfairly, and it is affecting my peace.
Give me wisdom in how I respond. Help me stay respectful, do good work and speak up wisely when I need to. Guard my mouth from gossip and bitterness.
Soften my boss’s heart. Help them lead better. If there are pressures in their life I do not see, help them too.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Help me do my part to live at peace.
If this job is no longer right for me, open another door. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
