Lord, I am a pastor and I am worn out. I care for others every day, but I feel empty inside.
Restore my soul. Help me rest without guilt. Give me friends I can be honest with and leaders who support me.
Help me set healthy limits. Remind me that I am not the Savior of my church; You are.
When Elijah was exhausted, Your angel said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. Feed me, Lord. Give me rest and strength for the journey.
Renew my joy in Your calling. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
