Prayer for Paying Off Debt

For anyone tired of credit card bills, loans and interest piling up.

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”

Romans 13:8 (KJV)

Lord, I am in debt and it feels heavy. Every bill reminds me of mistakes or hard seasons. I want to be free.

Give me wisdom to make a plan and the discipline to follow it. Help me spend less than I earn and resist things I do not need.

Provide extra income where possible. Lead me to good advice.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another. Help me move toward that freedom.

Forgive me where I have been unwise, and help me not live in shame. Give me hope that I can be debt-free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Short prayer to remember

Lord, give me wisdom and discipline to pay off this debt. Amen.
