Prayer Before Asking for a Raise

For workers preparing to ask for a raise or negotiate a salary.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

Lord, I am preparing to ask for a raise. I feel nervous and unsure how it will go.

Give me courage to speak up for what is fair. Help me explain my work honestly and clearly, without pride or fear.

Give my manager an open heart and wise judgment. If this is the right time, let it go well. If not, help me respond with grace.

But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I trust You as my provider.

Help me keep working well whatever the answer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Short prayer to remember

Lord, give me courage to ask, and You supply my needs. Amen.
