Lord, the house is waking up and the day is about to get busy. Before the first request comes, I turn to You.
Give me patience for the spills, the arguments and the hundred small needs. Give me joy in the ordinary work of caring for my family. Help me see my children through Your eyes.
When I feel unseen, remind me that You see every meal, every hug and every load of laundry.
Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in Thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk. Show me the way today.
Give me a few quiet moments to breathe and rest in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
