Lord, thank You for this new morning. Thank You for breath in my lungs, a bed to sleep in, and the chance to begin again.
Thank You for the people I love, the food I will eat today, and the work I get to do. Thank You for the blessings I notice and the many I take for granted.
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High: to shew forth Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night.
Help me carry this gratitude through the day, especially when things get hard. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
