“And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.”
Psalm 90:17 (KJV)
Lord, good morning. Before emails, meetings and tasks pull me in every direction, I want to start with You.
Give me focus for the work in front of me. Help me be honest, kind and patient with the people I work with. When problems come, give me wisdom. When I feel rushed, give me calm.
Let my work today be useful to others and pleasing to You, whether anyone notices it or not.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish Thou the work of our hands upon us. Establish the work of my hands today.
Bring me home tonight with peace and a grateful heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Short prayer to remember
Lord, establish the work of my hands today. Amen.
