“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.”
Nahum 1:7 (KJV)
Lord, the fires are near and the air is full of smoke. We are watching alerts and preparing to leave if we must.
Protect our homes, our families and our neighbors. Give firefighters strength and safety. Turn the winds and bring rain.
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him. Be our stronghold today.
Comfort those who have lost homes. Help us care for one another. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Short prayer to remember
Lord, be our stronghold and protect us from these fires. Amen.
