Prayer for a Truck Driver on the Road

For long-haul drivers and the families waiting for them to come home.

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)

Lord, I spend long hours on the road. Keep me alert and safe.

Protect me from accidents, bad weather and tired, careless drivers. Keep my truck in good condition.

Help me rest when I need to and not push past my limits. Keep me from loneliness and temptation on the road.

In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Direct my path, Lord.

Watch over my family while I am away. Bring me home safely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Short prayer to remember

Lord, direct my path and bring me home safely. Amen.
