Prayer for the First Day at a New Job

For walking into a new workplace full of new names, systems and expectations.

Lord, today is my first day at a new job. Thank You for this opportunity. I am excited and also nervous.

Help me learn quickly and remember names. Give me kind coworkers and a patient manager. Help me ask questions without fear of looking foolish.

Let me be honest, hardworking and easy to work with. Help me make a good start and build trust.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Help me do this work for You.

Bless this new chapter and let me be a blessing in this place. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
