Prayer to Forgive a Friend Who Betrayed You

Lord, a friend I trusted betrayed me. It hurts more because I let them close.

Heal my heart. Help me not to gossip back or seek revenge.

Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. Help me pray for them, even when it is hard.

Give me wisdom about this friendship going forward, and send trustworthy friends. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
