Prayer After Losing a Home

For families who lost a home to fire, flood, foreclosure or forced moves.

“Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.”

Psalm 90:1 (KJV)

Lord, we have lost our home. The place full of memories is gone, and we feel uprooted.

Provide shelter and everything we need right now. Send help and kind people.

LORD, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Be our home when we have no house.

Help us grieve what we lost and hope for what is ahead. Lead us to a new place to belong. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Short prayer to remember

Lord, You are our dwelling place. Provide for us now. Amen.
