“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
Psalm 127:1 (KJV)
Lord, I bring my home to You. Protect it from fire, flood, theft and harm. Protect everyone who lives here and everyone who visits.
Fill these rooms with peace, kindness and laughter. Let anger, fear and bitterness not take root here.
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Build and keep this house, Lord.
Let our home be a place where others feel welcome and loved. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Short prayer to remember
Lord, build and keep this house. Fill it with Your peace. Amen.
