Prayer for a Child Being Bullied at School

For a hurting child and a parent who wants to protect them.

“The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.”

Psalm 9:9 (KJV)

Lord, my child is being bullied, and it breaks my heart. They come home sad, scared or angry, and I want to protect them from every harsh word and cruel act.

Be their refuge. Comfort them when they feel alone. Remind them that they are loved, valuable and made by You.

Give me wisdom about what to do. Help the teachers and school leaders take this seriously and act. Change the hearts of those who are bullying.

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Be my child’s safe place.

Give them at least one true friend at school. Help them heal and grow in confidence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Short prayer to remember

Lord, be my child's refuge and give them a true friend. Amen.
