“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
Lord, it has been months and I still do not feel like myself. The tiredness is heavy, my thinking is foggy, and simple things leave me out of breath. Some people do not understand why I am still unwell, and that hurts too.
I ask You to heal my body. Restore my energy, clear my mind, and strengthen my heart and lungs. Lead me to doctors who listen and treatments that help.
Give me grace for the days I cannot do much. Help me rest without guilt, pace myself wisely, and let go of the life I had planned for this season.
You told Paul that Your grace is sufficient and that Your strength is made perfect in weakness. I am weak right now. Let Your strength show up in me in ways I cannot produce on my own.
Bless my family, friends and coworkers with patience and understanding. And give me hope that better days are coming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Short prayer to remember
Your grace is enough for me today, Lord. Be strong where I am weak. Amen.
