Lord, I am raising my grandchildren. I never expected to be a parent again at this stage of life, but I love them deeply.
Give me energy for school runs, homework and bedtime. Give me wisdom for parenting in a world that has changed so much. Provide for our needs.
Heal the hurts my grandchildren carry. Help them feel safe and loved in our home. Bless their relationship with their parents, as far as it is healthy.
Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed Thy strength unto this generation. Let me show Your strength to these children.
Keep me healthy for many years. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
