Lord, my spouse was unfaithful, and the betrayal cuts deep. I feel anger, grief and humiliation.
I do not know if I can forgive, but I want to try. Help me take the first step.
Peter asked how often he should forgive, and Jesus said, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Give me grace to forgive again and again.
Give me wisdom about the future of our marriage and protect my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
