Lord, I have a court hearing coming and I feel sick with worry. So much feels out of my control. I bring this whole situation to You.
Give me a calm spirit as I walk into that room. Help me speak clearly and truthfully, listen carefully, and keep my emotions steady. Give wisdom to my lawyer and to the judge. Let truth come to light and let justice be done.
If children are involved, protect their hearts and let what is best for them be the outcome.
I commit my way to You and trust in You. You promise to bring forth my righteousness as the light and my judgment as the noonday. I lean on that promise.
Whatever the outcome, help me respond with grace and keep my faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
