Prayer for a Long-Distance Marriage

For spouses living apart because of work, military service or visas.

“And Mizpah; for he said, The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.”

Genesis 31:49 (KJV)

Lord, my spouse and I are far apart right now. I miss them every day. The distance makes ordinary things hard, dinners, bedtimes and simple conversations.

Keep our love strong. Help us communicate well, be patient with time zones and missed calls, and stay faithful.

Protect my spouse wherever they are. Keep them safe and healthy.

The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another. Watch over us both, Lord.

Bring us back together soon. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
