Lord, our marriage has been broken by unfaithfulness. There is so much pain, anger and confusion. I do not know if we can heal, but I am bringing it all to You.
Give us honesty. Help us face the truth and the hurt, and not hide or minimize it.
If we are meant to rebuild, give us the strength to do the hard work. Lead us to a good counselor. Help trust grow again, slowly and truly.
Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Help us walk toward forgiveness, even if it takes a long time.
Heal my heart, whatever happens. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
